US Air Defense System Suddenly Activates at Iraq Base

According to webangah News Agency, an Iraqi security source in Al-Anbar province confirmed‍ that US forces abruptly activated ⁤air defense systems at the Ain al-Asad airbase in ⁤western ⁣Iraq.

The source stated this defensive measure was taken due to fears ⁣of potential missile attacks.

The security official added that⁢ American⁤ troops have increased surveillance‌ towers around Ain⁢ al-Asad and restricted troop movements in the area.

“Numerous US⁢ aircraft have also relocated from Syria to Iraq,” the source revealed, noting that ‌Patriot missile systems and other defense mechanisms have been deployed at Ain al-Asad for the first time.
