Hamas and Tel Aviv Only Disagree on One Issue for Ceasefire Deal
According to webangah News agency, citing Sky News via Mehr News Agency, informed sources state that the presence of Zionist military forces in the Gaza Strip remains the only unresolved issue between Tel Aviv and Hamas to achieve a ceasefire in the enclave.
The sources added that intensive negotiations were underway in Qatar together with Netanyahu’s visit to America and his meetings with trump, aiming to finalize a truce agreement.
They emphasized that the disagreement between Hamas and Tel Aviv solely concerns Zionist military presence in Gaza, leaving the occupiers with only two options: ending the war and withdrawing from Gaza with all prisoners while allowing Hamas to remain, or continuing Gaza’s occupation indefinitely.
Tel Aviv and Hamas have reportedly reached agreements on other matters, including aid delivery mechanisms to Gaza and Hamas’s demand for no renewed aggression against the territory after a proposed 60-day ceasefire period.
The parties agreed that a third party would oversee aid distribution in areas vacated by withdrawing Zionist forces.
