Moscow’s Night Attacks Continue Against Kyiv; Eastern to Western Ukraine Under Fire
Kiev authorities have reported a massive Russian assault on multiple regions across Ukraine, involving hundreds of attack drones and over 20 ballistic missiles, amid ongoing nighttime strikes.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the range of targets stretched from Kharkiv and Sumy in the east to Lviv in the west.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense confirmed that during the last 24 hours, at least 597 attack drones and 26 cruise missiles were launched toward Ukraine.
These nightly Russian attacks have intensified in recent weeks, with Moscow targeting Ukrainian cities with an unprecedented number of drones and missiles during these operations.
zelensky emphasized the urgency created by the frequency of Russian airstrikes,calling for rapid decisions. He suggested these attacks could be curbed promptly through sanctions.
He urged Ukraine’s allies to impose strict sanctions against countries aiding Russia’s drone production as well as buyers of Moscow’s oil.
Zelensky declared, “This war can onyl be stopped through strength. We do not just need signals from our partners; we demand their actions to save lives.”
