US Secretary of State Consults European Counterparts on Iran and Ukraine

The US Department of State announced⁢ that ‌Senator⁤ Marco rubio held​ phone discussions with the foreign ministers of France, Germany, and‍ the United ‍Kingdom ⁣regarding Iran and Ukraine, according‌ to the ​English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al⁢ Jazeera via Mehr News ⁣Agency.

Reiterating⁣ previous US and Western claims about Iran, the department ​stated that Rubio spoke with his European‍ counterparts about ⁣strengthening stability in the Middle‌ East⁣ and ‍ensuring that‍ Iran cannot develop or acquire nuclear weapons.

During the ⁣call, Rubio also emphasized that ‌achieving a‍ permanent negotiated settlement to end the ​conflict between Russia and Ukraine‍ remains a priority for the US⁣ president.
