Leader of Syrian Druze Rejects All Agreements with Jolani Regime
According to webangah News Agency and Al Jazeera, Hikmat al-Hajri, the spiritual leader of Syria’s Druze community, announced on Wednesday that there is no agreement or negotiation with the Syrian government.
Al-hajri emphasized their commitment to continuing the battle until the entire territory of Suwayda province is liberated from the control of the Jolani regime.
In remarks made yesterday, he stated that a humiliating statement had been imposed on him and that Syrian Druze face war and massacre.
The Druze leader released a video message saying the previous statement was issued under pressure from Damascus and foreign countries. Negotiations with Damascus were neither productive nor sincere. Despite issuing this humiliating statement, attacks against civilians continued. He affirmed solidarity with all Syrians today, rejecting humiliation or living under disgrace for decades to come. Everyone must adopt a dignified stance now so it will be recorded in history. He called for standing firm against these brutal attacks.
