Ammar Hakim Praises Iranian People’s Resistance Against Zionist Regime’s Aggression
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing the media office of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement, Seyyed Ammar Hakim, head of the movement, hosted a delegation from Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly today, Sunday. The delegation was led by Seyyed Mahmoud Nabavian, Deputy Chairman of the Parliament’s National Security Commission.
The two sides discussed regional developments and bilateral relations between Iraq and Iran during their meeting.
Seyyed Ammar Hakim emphasized the importance of leveraging arbaeen pilgrimage rituals to strengthen both official and popular cooperation between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran. He highlighted this pilgrimage’s central role in deepening ties between the two countries.
The leader of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement commended the Iranian people’s resistance and their unity with national leadership and institutions. He also praised the role that Iran’s islamic Consultative Assembly plays in supporting its nation.
Hakim called for enhanced parliamentary cooperation between Iraq and Iran. He stressed establishing joint committees to address issues of mutual importance alongside exchanging experiences between both sides.
