Eisenkot: I Am Ready to Take Power in Israel
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, Gadi Eizenkot, former Chief of Staff of the Israeli military, stated on friday that Netanyahu sabotaged the prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas for political reasons.
He added, “I am ready to take power as Israel’s prime minister.”
Eizenkot also said,”I know all the challenges facing Israel and the right path forward.”
Yesterday, U.S. President Donald Trump accused Hamas of obstructing ceasefire negotiations and announced that his country is withdrawing from the Gaza ceasefire talks.
This comes as Netanyahu appears unwilling to declare a ceasefire in Gaza amid efforts to avoid his ongoing corruption trial in the occupied territories.
