Harrowing Scenes: People Dying in Streets Due to Famine and Starvation
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency, Adi Dubour, head of the medical team at the Medical Relief Association in Gaza, told Al Jazeera that at least 50,000 infants in Gaza lack infant formula.
He reported that over 1,000 people have been killed while seeking food at American-Israeli aid distribution centers. Additionally, 6,000 others have been wounded by occupying forces.
The Palestinian official highlighted a severe shortage of fuel for ambulances and stated that people are dying on the streets due to starvation and famine.
He confirmed that more than 1,600 healthcare workers have died so far and said: “The only option for Gaza’s residents is death or starvation.”
The head of the medical relief team called for an immediate halt to the war and urgent permission for aid to enter gaza without delay.
Meanwhile, Palestinian sources reported the death of Zainab Abu Halib, a Palestinian infant who succumbed to ongoing famine in Gaza.
