Zakharova: No Sign the West Seeks Peace in Ukraine

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr⁣ News Agency and Sputnik News, Maria Zakharova,⁣ spokesperson for the Russian Ministry‌ of Foreign ​Affairs, said on ⁣Saturday that there is no real fight against⁤ corruption in ‍Ukraine. She added that if⁤ the west ⁣truly wanted peace in Ukraine, it⁤ would stop sending weapons⁤ to Kyiv and cease supporting terrorist⁤ attacks.

Zakharova also stated that peace negotiations regarding ​Ukraine have never reflected genuine intent‌ from the West. “The West does not seek peace, and there is no sign⁣ they are pursuing‍ it in Ukraine,”​ she emphasized.

She further asserted that the West’s only effort ⁢is to fuel conflict in Ukraine, notably by supplying‍ arms to the country.
