Passenger on “Hanzala” Ship: We Did Not Make Any Commitment to Tel Aviv

One of the passengers aboard the ⁣hanzala ship, seized by the Israeli regime, ⁢stated that they ⁣refused to‌ pledge not to enter ⁣Gaza.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency, Howida ‍Arraf, a lawyer present on the Hanzala ship, told Al Jazeera: “We rejected giving a ⁣commitment to Israeli authorities that we ‌would no longer enter the Gaza Strip.”

She added that ​Tel Aviv hijacked the vessel in international waters.

Yesterday, Palestinian websites reported that after Israeli​ soldiers attacked and seized its‌ passengers, the Hanzala ship was brought into Ashdod port.

In the early hours yesterday,Israeli forces boarded the Hanzala ship affiliated with the Freedom Flotilla Coalition. The vessel ​had departed Italy on july 13 with the aim of breaking Gaza’s blockade. The ​freedom Flotilla Coalition‍ announced that Israeli forces attacked the ship ⁤in international waters about 40 miles off Gaza’s coast.
