Deadly Accident in Ivory Coast Claims 67 Dead and Injured
A fatal accident in Ivory Coast has resulted in at least 16 deaths and 51 injuries.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Le Figaro, a collision in northern Ivory Coast left at least 16 peopel dead and 51 injured.
The Ministry of Transport in ivory Coast reported that the crash occurred early morning on the Katiola-Niakara road. Local media stated that a public transport bus traveling from San Pedro (Ivory Coast) to Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) collided with a truck carrying sugarcane.
The Ministry also confirmed that the injured have been taken to a hospital near the scene.
Earlier,on July 25,a similar incident in Peru resulted in 15 deaths and 27 injuries. The causes of both accidents are currently under investigation.
