Unknown Drone Shot Down Over Minsk
Belarus Ministry of Defence reports shooting down an ‘unknown’ drone over the country’s capital.
The Belarusian Ministry of Defense announced that an “unknown” drone was shot down over Minsk, the capital city, according to webangah News Agency’s English section citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today.
The ministry stated that around 2 a.m. today, air defense forces detected and destroyed the unidentified object after it violated Minsk’s airspace.
Authorities confirmed that the drone’s destruction caused no casualties or injuries. An examination into the incident is ongoing.
