Deadly Kenya Crash Claims at Least 25 Lives

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anatolia via Mehr News Agency, at least 25 people lost their lives when a bus carrying mourners overturned in western Kenya.
Peter Maina, the regional traffic official, said the bus crashed while returning from a funeral ceremony. This is the deadliest accident in Kenya so far in 2025.
The bus was carrying 51 passengers at the time of the incident. Road accident rates have increased this year in Kenya, with police identifying speeding, reckless driving, and poor vehicle maintenance as major causes of crashes.
