Turkey Plays Key Role in Zangezur Corridor
webangah News Agency, International Desk: Dariush Safarnezhad, a senior Caucasus analyst, stated at the international conference “The Zangezur Corridor: Geopolitical Threats Against Iran and Perspectives of various Actors” held by webangah News Agency that NATO is the main backer of the Zangezur Corridor. Following NATO are the united States, Europe, the Israeli regime, Turkey, and Takfiri groups. He emphasized Turkey’s prominent role in the corridor as NATO’s Southeastern regional command is stationed in Turkey.
According to Safarnezhad,Turkey maintains a strong presence not only in the Caucasus and Central asia but also in Afghanistan and the Balkans. This presence stems from hosting NATO’s Southeastern Command and acting on behalf of NATO interests.
