UN Secretary-General Guterres’ Spokesperson Addresses Zionists’ E1 Project
The United Nations Secretary-General’s spokesperson condemned the Israeli Finance Minister’s remarks on West Bank annexation,stating that these statements reinforce occupation.
The spokesperson for António Guterres,Secretary-General of the United Nations,announced Wednesday that the UN condemns Israeli Finance Minister bezalel Smotrich’s statements regarding the annexation of West Bank territories.
The UN spokesperson described these remarks as a challenge to international law and a reinforcement of occupation.
Meanwhile, Bezalel smotrich declared that the E1 project will be advanced, effectively burying any prospects for an independent Palestinian state.
According to this far-right minister in Netanyahu’s cabinet, the project includes building over 3,400 new housing units in Ma’ale Adumim near jerusalem. This development will sever the connection between Ramallah and Bethlehem.
