Hamas Responds to Israel’s New Operation in Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera Qatar, Hamas responded to the Israeli army’s announcement of launching “gideon Chariots 2” by emphasizing that this action continues a policy of genocide against the palestinian people that has persisted for over 22 months.
Hamas called this new aggression a blatant disregard for mediators’ efforts to establish a ceasefire and prisoner exchanges. It asserted that Benjamin Netanyahu has once again proven he is the main obstacle to any agreement, showing no willingness to return Israeli captives by ignoring mediator countries’ proposals.
The movement stressed that “Gideon Chariots 2,” like previous phases and plans by the occupying regime, will end in failure. It warned that occupying the Gaza Strip will not be an “easy game” for Israel.
Hamas also urged mediators to exert maximum pressure and effort to stop ongoing killings and starvation policies against the Palestinian people.
