UNICEF: Global Community Has Abandoned Gaza’s Children
A senior UNICEF official expressed regret over the global community’s inaction, stating that the world has abandoned the children of Gaza.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, UNICEF’s spokesperson in Gaza told Al Jazeera that the international community has ”left the children of Gaza alone.”
He added, ”We need governments and leaders to use all their influence to end this war.”
According to him,the lives of children in Gaza depend on what unfolds in the coming days and hours.
The UNICEF spokesman also pointed out clear evidence and said he has encountered many children suffering from severe malnutrition.
He warned that if humanitarian aid fails to enter Gaza, conditions will deteriorate substantially.
