Dutch Ministers Resign En Masse in Protest Against Tel Aviv’s Atrocities
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,quoting Mehr News Agency and the Associated Press,ministers linked to the “New Social Decade” party in the Netherlands have announced their resignations.
This move came as a show of support for the resignation of the country’s Foreign Minister following his failed efforts to impose new sanctions on Israel.
Kasper Valdo Kamp,Dutch Foreign Minister,resigned on Friday night after a heated government debate over possible sanctions against Tel Aviv.
In his statement, Valdocamp said: “I have concluded that I am not in a position to implement crucial and further measures to pressure Israel.”
The Dutch foreign minister had expressed his willingness on Thursday to introduce new measures against Tel Aviv.
Earlier, in July, the dutch government declared two Israeli ministers-Itamar Ben-Gvir and Smotrich-as “undesirable persons.”
The Netherlands was also among 21 countries that jointly condemned on Thursday a major plan for settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank as “unacceptable and contrary to international law.”
