Deadly Crash in Kabul Kills at Least 25 and Injures 27
A road accident in Afghanistan’s capital has resulted in the deaths of at least 25 people.
An overturned bus in Kabul, Afghanistan’s capital, has killed at least 25 passengers, according to the English section of webangah News agency citing ABC News.
Abdul Mateen Qaneh, spokesman for the ministry of Interior under the Taliban interim government, stated that the crash occurred in Kabul’s Arghandi area. The bus was traveling from southern Afghanistan and was carrying passengers from helmand and kandahar provinces.
He added that careless driving caused the accident, which also injured 27 people.
This incident follows another deadly crash less than a week ago in Herat province in western Afghanistan, where about 80 people were killed.
