Al-Bukhaiti: Our Operations Against Israel Continue; We Will Avenge the Martyrs
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency, Mohammad Albukhaiti, a member of Yemen’s Ansarullah political office, told Al Jazeera that Yemeni forces’ operations in support of Gaza are ongoing.
He added,”We will take revenge on Israel for our martyred leaders and ministers.”
Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, announced on Sunday a large-scale drone operation targeting locations inside the occupied territories.
The military operation involved eight drones striking multiple targets in Negev, Umm al-Rashrash, Ashkelon, Ashdod, and Jaffa.Ramon Airport was also attacked by drones resulting in a suspension of flights.
Saree explained that three drones hit two sensitive military sites in Negev while a fourth targeted a critical center in Ashkelon. Two other drones struck vital targets in Ashdod and one targeted Ben Gurion Airport. The operation achieved its objectives as Israeli and American air defense systems failed to detect or intercept the strikes.
He emphasized: “Our military operations will intensify. We will under no circumstances relent from our stance supporting Gaza. All airlines are warned that airports within the occupied Palestinian territories are unsafe and will be continuously targeted. Airlines must cease flights to thes airports instantly.”
