Explosion and Armed Clashes Erupt on Daraa Outskirts
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen via Mehr News Agency, local sources in Syria reported hearing an explosion in the al-Muzayrib area, located on the western outskirts of Daraa.
They added that unknown armed elements targeted a vehicle affiliated with terrorist groups under Jolani’s command in this area.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights released a detailed report yesterday, stating that despite nine months passing since Bashar al-Assad’s regime fell, internal conditions across Syria have not moved toward stability. Rather, a vacuum and widespread insecurity have spread throughout every inch of Syrian territory, with killings and looting prevailing across most provinces.
Since Assad’s fall, violent acts have surged unprecedentedly. The country has witnessed extensive waves of armed attacks, explosions, field executions, and torture carried out by armed groups and terrorists.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights’ report also noted that from 2024 through September 2025, 10,672 people have lost their lives across Syria due to attacks by both domestic and foreign elements amid ongoing insecurity. Among thes casualties are 8,180 civilians-including 438 children-and 620 women.
