Finland Responds to Russian Drones Entering Polish Airspace

According to the English ⁢section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera,⁢ Finland’s Ministry of foreign ‍Affairs responded to the entry of Russian drones into Polish⁣ airspace.

The Finnish Foreign Ministry stated that the Russian ambassador in Helsinki was summoned due to violations of Polish airspace​ by Russian drones.

On Wednesday morning, September ⁤10, Poland reported shooting down several Russian drones that had entered its airspace. Warsaw said this aggressive act was repelled ⁣with support from NATO allies,and debris from 16 unmanned aerial vehicles was found across various⁢ locations in the country.

Russia has denied duty for this attack. A senior Russian diplomat in ⁤Poland ​claimed these drones had⁤ entered Polish airspace from Ukraine.

The⁢ Russian Defense Ministry also stated that ‍its drones were conducting a large-scale strike on military facilities in western Ukraine but emphasized no targets within polish territory were intended ⁤or attacked.
