Finland Responds to Russian Drones Entering Polish Airspace
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Finland’s Ministry of foreign Affairs responded to the entry of Russian drones into Polish airspace.
The Finnish Foreign Ministry stated that the Russian ambassador in Helsinki was summoned due to violations of Polish airspace by Russian drones.
On Wednesday morning, September 10, Poland reported shooting down several Russian drones that had entered its airspace. Warsaw said this aggressive act was repelled with support from NATO allies,and debris from 16 unmanned aerial vehicles was found across various locations in the country.
Russia has denied duty for this attack. A senior Russian diplomat in Poland claimed these drones had entered Polish airspace from Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry also stated that its drones were conducting a large-scale strike on military facilities in western Ukraine but emphasized no targets within polish territory were intended or attacked.
