New Route for Turkish Goods Exported to Occupied Territories Revealed
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an, despite Turkey’s complete ban on maritime trade with the Israeli regime-including restrictions on ships flying its flag from docking at ports under occupation-Iran Sib, head of one of the contracting associations for the Israeli regime, revealed that statistics published by israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics show imports from Turkey to the occupied territories reached 1.9 billion shekels between January and July 2025.
The report highlighted that monthly imports of marble from Turkey have reached $50 million. Each month, approximately 1,500 shipments of marble arrive in the occupied territories from Turkey.
Ma’an explained that shipments imported from Turkey are first transported to Greece where commercial documents are exchanged as if orders had been placed there.
Tal Bar, an official at Group companies involved in construction activities, stated that Turkey remains one of the largest exporters of raw materials to the occupied territories.
This comes despite the Turkish government’s announcement in May 2024 regarding a full suspension of export and import activities with Israel.
