Putin and Indian Prime Minister Hold Key Talks

The Office of the president of‍ Russia announced that the Russian president and the ⁢Indian prime minister discussed bilateral relations, the situation in Ukraine, and preparations for Putin’s visit⁤ to Delhi in December.

According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing RIA Novosti via Mehr News Agency, Russian‌ President Vladimir ⁤Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi‌ held a phone call on Wednesday.

A statement ​from the Office of⁤ the President of Russia said that during this conversation, President Putin described India-Russia ties as grounded in trust and friendship.

Putin also⁣ noted that under Modi’s leadership, India pursues an⁢ independent sovereign policy and has achieved positive economic outcomes in bilateral relations.

The two leaders⁣ also discussed developments regarding⁤ Ukraine during⁤ their⁤ conversation.

Additionally,⁤ Vladimir Putin and Narendra Modi spoke about arrangements for the Russian president’s visit to Delhi scheduled for December.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the ongoing⁢ successful development of their special strategic partnership, ​wich Modi has personally contributed considerably to‍ strengthening.
