Putin and Indian Prime Minister Hold Key Talks
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing RIA Novosti via Mehr News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a phone call on Wednesday.
A statement from the Office of the President of Russia said that during this conversation, President Putin described India-Russia ties as grounded in trust and friendship.
Putin also noted that under Modi’s leadership, India pursues an independent sovereign policy and has achieved positive economic outcomes in bilateral relations.
The two leaders also discussed developments regarding Ukraine during their conversation.
Additionally, Vladimir Putin and Narendra Modi spoke about arrangements for the Russian president’s visit to Delhi scheduled for December.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the ongoing successful development of their special strategic partnership, wich Modi has personally contributed considerably to strengthening.
