Gulf Cooperation Council Meeting to Address Attack on Doha
The Joint Defense Directorate of the Gulf Cooperation Council announced it will convene a meeting to examine the Zionist regime’s attack on Qatar, according to webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera.
The meeting will be held in Doha, qatar’s capital, wiht participation from GCC defense ministers.
On Tuesday, September 8, Israeli forces launched a missile strike targeting the location where Hamas leaders were gathered during talks on US President Donald Trump’s proposal to advance negotiations. Although none of the Hamas leaders were harmed, several members of Hamas and civilians-including one Qatari citizen-were killed in the attack.
Following this assault, Qatar called for an emergency summit of arab and Islamic countries’ leaders. The meeting took place in Doha on Monday but concluded with only a condemnation statement and no substantive action against the zionist regime.
