China: Palestinian Sovereignty Over Palestine Must Be Enforced
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated on Saturday that the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, carried out by Israeli forces, has caused an unprecedented humanitarian disaster that challenges human conscience.
Wang Yi added that Israel’s steps to seize Gaza and its aggression in the West Bank affect stability across the Middle East (West Asia). He emphasized that the principle of Palestinian sovereignty over Palestine must be enforced. Gaza and the West Bank are inviolable Palestinian territories.
This comes as China’s representative at the United Nations recently warned at a Security Council meeting about continuing Israeli crimes against the oppressed people of Gaza. The situation there is deteriorating rapidly and becoming increasingly dangerous. the international community must take urgent action before the catastrophe worsens in the Gaza Strip.
