Man Arrested in U.S. for Shining Laser at Trump’s Helicopter
Associated Press reports that an individual has been arrested for shining a laser at the helicopter carrying the President of the United States.
According to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Associated Press reported the arrest of a man accused of shining a laser at Marine One, the helicopter used by President Donald Trump.
The report identified the suspect as 33-year-old Jacob Samuel Winkler from Washington, D.C. he faces charges that carry up to five years in prison if convicted.
Associated Press stated that a U.S. Secret Service agent spotted Winkler walking naked on a sidewalk near the White House while Marine One was in flight nearby. After Winkler shone the laser into the agent’s eyes, he then aimed it at the helicopter. Following his arrest, he repeatedly apologized to Trump.
