Controversial Microphone Cut at UN During Palestine Speech + Video

The repeated cutting of microphones‌ during speeches by several international officials on Palestine at⁢ the ‍United Nations has sparked‍ controversy.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing⁣ Mehr ⁣News Agency and⁤ Sputnik, the UN ⁤General Assembly⁣ hall experienced ‍multiple microphone outages during recent ‍speeches by world ⁢leaders addressing Palestine.

This issue ⁣has stirred debate online as these microphone disruptions occurred while several⁤ leaders discussed Gaza’s humanitarian ‍situation and called for⁣ recognition of the State of Palestine.

As an example, Turkish President Recep Tayyip ⁣Erdoğan’s microphone was cut off while he spoke about Gaza’s humanitarian crisis and urged recognition of​ Palestine. Similarly, ‌Indonesia’s ⁤president faced a microphone outage when discussing⁢ his contry’s ‍plan to deploy⁣ peacekeeping forces to Gaza.

The Canadian Prime Minister also lost⁣ audio while‌ addressing the topic of recognizing Palestine.

UN officials have asserted that these interruptions were due to technical problems.
