International Atomic Energy Agency Resumes Inspections in Iran

The International ‍Atomic Energy Agency announced that it​ has resumed inspections of‌ Iran’s nuclear facilities ⁤this week.

The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr⁣ News Agency and​ Al Mayadeen, ‌reported⁤ that​ on Friday the International atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stated it⁣ had restarted inspections in iran following a pause caused by attacks from the United States and Israel on Iranian nuclear sites.

The IAEA added that the inspections are confidential and it cannot disclose the specific⁢ locations ⁣inspected but confirmed they took place⁤ this week.

Last Tuesday, Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s⁣ Deputy Foreign Minister, ⁤signed a new technical ‍cooperation protocol with Rafael Grossi, ⁢IAEA director General, in Cairo, Egypt. this⁣ document outlines new ⁣procedures‌ for Tehran’s collaboration⁣ with the agency.

Grossi ⁤commented on the agreement: “We have reached a technical understanding ‍with Iran regarding inspection notifications and ‍their implementation.”
