Erdogan: We Have Opened Our Hospitals to Gaza’s Wounded
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Al Jazeera, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the formation of the Security Council and international organizations was intended to prevent conflicts, but they have now become part of the problem.
He added: “As long as our region faces tension and conflict, we cannot have security or prosperity.”
The president emphasized Turkey’s efforts to establish peace and stability in the region and extinguish ongoing fires. “We do not seek to exploit instability or capitalize on others’ suffering,” he said.
Erdoğan accused Netanyahu and his criminal associates of targeting civilians in Gaza with advanced weapons while starvation has turned into a weapon of war.
“We have opened our hospitals to treat Gaza’s wounded. We are doing all we can to support Palestinians and Gaza’s residents. I salute the knights of hope aboard the Steadfast Fleet who have come from various countries worldwide in support of Gaza,” he stated.
The Turkish president noted that ethnic cleansing is a tool used by occupiers in Gaza, with its residents paying a high price in lives lost and heavy damages suffered. He said no one at the United Nations listens to Netanyahu, revealing how blatant this occupation policy became following attacks on Qatar.
Erdoğan questioned why Palestine was not recognized before this brutal assault on Gaza. He called for practical measures such as imposing sanctions on Israel and banning it from participating in sports competitions. “Israel must pay reparations for destruction caused in palestinian territories,” he asserted.
