Nebenzia: Russia Does Not Recognize the Reimposition of Anti-Iran Sanctions
Russia’s permanent Representative to the United Nations declared that Russia does not recognize the reimposition of anti-Iranian sanctions.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, Vasily Nebenzya, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, stated today, Wednesday, that Russia does not recognize the recent UN sanctions imposed on Tehran.
The Russian envoy emphasized that moscow rejects the reimposition of UN sanctions against Iran.
Russia assumed the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council today (October 1), with sanctions against Iran among the council’s primary agenda items.
