Amnesty International: Israel Attacks Samud to Silence Opponents
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Al Jazeera, Amnesty International declared that Israel’s attack on the Samud flotilla was illegal and reflects its intent to continue starving Gaza’s residents.
The association emphasized that this assault was not merely aimed at preventing humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza but was also intended to intimidate critics of Israel.
Amnesty International stated that Israel’s attack on the Samud flotilla sought to silence opposition voices against genocide. It called for israel to safely release all detainees and allow humanitarian aid and its vessels full access to Gaza. Pressure must be applied on Tel Aviv to lift its blockade of Gaza.
In related news, the Italian Prime Minister has announced that Italy is closely monitoring Israel’s attack on the Samud flotilla and is working to secure the return of detained Italian activists.
