Erdogan: Attack on “Sumud” Fleet Exposed Israel’s Brutal Face
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik,Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the attack on the “steadfast” fleet,which was en route to the Gaza strip,revealed Israel’s savage character.
He added that Turkish authorities are taking necesary measures to ensure no harm comes to Turkish activists aboard the Steadfast fleet.
Erdoğan asserted that israel’s assault on the Steadfast fleet proves that netanyahu’s cabinet will not allow any hope for peace to emerge.
The global management of the Steadfast fleet announced that israel has seized all vessels except one still heading toward Gaza.
According to reports, Israel intercepted all ships of the Steadfast fleet in international waters and detained more than 440 activists onboard.
Hundreds of Israeli soldiers from various units took part in Wednesday’s operation against the Steadfast ships. They attacked 41 vessels carrying over 400 passengers as they traveled toward Gaza. The operation lasted 12 hours.
