Freedom Fleet Advances Toward Gaza; Ship Marinet 54 Miles Off Gaza Coast
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, reported that an Al Jazeera correspondent said nine ships affiliated with the “Freedom Flotilla to Break the gaza Siege” are still heading toward Gaza and are currently 470 miles away from the area.
according to this report, the ship Marinet from the Freedom Flotilla Coalition has managed to reach a distance of 54 miles off Gaza’s coast.
473 Freedom Flotilla activists transferred to Ketziot prison
Simultaneously occurring, Israeli media outlet Israel Hayom reported that 473 detained activists from the Freedom flotilla have been transferred to Ketziot prison in Israel.
The newspaper added that these activists are expected to be deported by air early next week and returned to their home countries.
Separately,yesterday,the International Committee for Breaking the Gaza Siege announced a new wave of efforts aimed at ending Gaza’s blockade.Ten additional ships have set sail toward Gaza’s shores as part of this initiative.
This fleet includes a large vessel named Al-Dhamir, carrying more than 100 journalists, doctors, and human and civil rights activists. It symbolizes renewed global solidarity with the people under siege in Gaza.
