According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, UN reporters acknowledged on Wednesday that the hunger and lack of housing due to the damages caused by the Israeli attacks in Gaza, is “genocide” in this area.
According to the news agency “Anatolia,” Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on human rights, said that 45 percent of Gazans are starving. Albanese said: “In some areas, 9 out of 10 families go without food for 24 hours.”
Balakrishnan Rajagopal, another UN special rapporteur, also said that 56 percent of the houses in Gaza were destroyed or damaged.
Rajagopal said : “Northern Gaza has been severely damaged and up to 82 percent has been destroyed or damaged.” According to the United Nations, about 85 percent of Gaza’s residents have been displaced and Hundreds of thousands of people live without shelter.
The UN Refugee Agency also announced that the Gaza Strip has become an “uninhabitable place” due to the attacks of the Israeli regime.
Adnan Abu Hosna, the spokesman of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for IDPs, said: “Gaza is the worst place on earth. And it is becoming an uninhabitable place.”
This number of about 1.4 million people live in 155 schools and shelters under the administration of the United Nations. One person has been killed so far. This staggering number of casualties means that one percent of the 2.27 million population of the besieged Gaza Strip has been killed so far.
