Gaza Death Toll Surpasses 67,000
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza released an updated statement detailing the latest casualty figures from Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip as October 7, 2023.
According to the ministry, 67,074 Palestinians have been killed as a result of these attacks to date.
The ministry also reported that 169,430 people have been injured since the conflict began.
In the past 24 hours alone, medical teams received 66 bodies of martyrs and treated 265 new injuries.
Since March 18,2025-marking a new wave of assaults-there have been 13,486 deaths and 57,389 injuries recorded in Gaza.
Thousands remain missing or trapped under rubble throughout the territory.
The ministry added that during relief distribution centers over the past day, 6 people were killed and 40 others injured, raising casualties at these sites to 2,603 deaths and 19,094 injuries overall.
Nutritional crises continue with 2 starvation-related deaths recorded within 24 hours, bringing total fatalities from hunger and malnutrition to 459, including 154 children.
The IPC (Integrated Food Security Phase Classification) alert declared famine conditions in Gaza. Since then, there have been 181 starvation-related deaths, among them at least 39 children.
