Trump to Netanyahu: You’re Always Too Pessimistic
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, the American news website Axios reported based on some sources that after Hamas responded positively to the U.S. President’s ceasefire plan,Benjamin netanyahu,Israel’s Prime Minister,told Trump that this was not a welcome development adn should not be seen as an achievement.
the informed sources added that Trump replied to Netanyahu’s comments by saying he did not understand why Netanyahu was so negative. He insisted it was a success and should be appreciated accordingly.
Axios further reported that two U.S.officials said when Trump called Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister’s cold response did not meet the president’s expectations.In response,Trump reacted sharply,telling Netanyahu: “You are always so negative.”
On Saturday, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed in an interview with Israel’s Channel 12: “We have received very positive reactions to our (ceasefire) plan! All countries around the world support it! Bibi [Netanyahu] supports it too. Hamas also wants to proceed with this.Now we just need to finalize the details. Netanyahu overreached in Gaza and israel lost important international support because of it. Now I want to restore all of that support.”
