Kremlin: Putin and Netanyahu Consulted on Iran
The Kremlin announced that the President of Russia and the Prime Minister of Israel consulted on a negotiated solution to Iran’s nuclear program.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the Kremlin released a statement on Monday announcing that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a phone call discussing developments in West Asia, including former US President Trump’s plan for a ceasefire in Gaza.
The Kremlin added that during the call,Putin reaffirmed Moscow’s unwavering support for a comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian issue based on international law. Both leaders also expressed interest in increasing stability in Syria and finding a negotiated solution regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
