Netanyahu and Trump Hold Phone Call Following Agreement
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera Qatar, Benjamin Netanyahu’s office issued a statement early Thursday detailing a phone conversation between the Israeli Prime Minister and U.S. President Donald Trump.
The statement saeid Netanyahu and Trump recently spoke by phone, congratulating each other on this historic achievement and signing the final agreement for the release of Israeli prisoners.
Netanyahu’s office added that he expressed gratitude to Trump for his “efforts and leadership.”
the statement further noted that Netanyahu and Trump agreed to continue close cooperation during their conversation.
It concluded with Netanyahu officially inviting Trump to address the Knesset (Israeli Parliament).
israel’s Channel 12 reported that Trump is expected to arrive in Tel Aviv next Sunday to deliver a speech at the Knesset.
The outlet also stated that within 24 hours,the Israeli military will withdraw from an agreed-upon location as part of the deal.
