Zionist Source: Palestinian Prisoner List Issue Remains Unresolved
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing mehr news Agency, CNN reported that negotiations are underway over the list of Palestinian prisoners set to be freed as part of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
The source added that the issue of this prisoner list remains unresolved. Hamas demands the release of detainees whom Tel Aviv has not yet agreed to free.
Officials from Israeli prisons have also stated they have not yet received the names or numbers of Palestinian prisoners scheduled for release.
Russia Al-Youm, citing Israeli sources, reported that prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment who will be released are expected to be transferred outside the West Bank adn Gaza Strip. In this regard, Israel’s Prime Minister’s office announced that Marwan Barghouti will never be freed under this agreement.
