Video Reveals Brutal Treatment of Palestinian Prisoners by Zionists
The english section of webangah News Agency reports, citing Shihab News Agency and Mehr News Agency, that Israeli media released a video depicting violent behavior by Israeli prison guards toward several Palestinian prisoners inside Negev Prison before their scheduled release. The footage provoked a wave of anger.
The video shows a group of blindfolded Palestinian prisoners with their hands tied, forced to move in line with bowed heads while Israeli soldiers subject them to various forms of physical and verbal abuse.
Palestinian sources described the footage as painful and indicative of the occupiers’ brutality aimed at breaking the dignity of prisoners who are due for release.
Amjad Al-Najar, head of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, stated that the video captures some prisoners preparing for transfer to Gaza as part of the exchange deal. He emphasized that these scenes reflect humiliating treatment before their release.
The Palestinian Prisoners Defense Center called this video further evidence of the occupiers’ fascist policies and violations of international law.
Earlier, informed sources told Al Jazeera that Israel warned families of Palestinians slated for release not to hold celebrations or display happiness upon their freedom.
This move highlights how deeply unsettled the occupiers are even at displaying Palestinians’ resilient spirit and joy.
The exchange is scheduled for tomorrow morning, Monday, when resistance forces will free 20 Israeli captives. In return, around 1,700 Palestinians arrested after Operation Al-Aqsa Storm-along with dozens held under life sentences-will be released.
