Zelensky: Gaza Agreement Offers Hope for Ending Ukraine War
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Sunday in an interview with Fox News that the Gaza agreement carries meaningful messages for Ukraine. He added it could boost hopes of increasing pressure on Putin to end the war in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian president also stated that he discussed this matter during a phone consultation with Donald Trump yesterday.
Earlier, Zelensky had called on his American counterpart, Donald Trump, to act as a mediator in the Ukraine conflict. he said if Trump can stop one war, then other wars can also be halted.
Zelensky’s phone call with Trump took place one day after a large-scale Russian attack targeted Ukraine’s power grid,causing outages in parts of Kyiv and nine other regions across the country.
