Netanyahu to Trump: We Both Remain Committed to This Peace
Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, praised former U.S. President Donald Trump during a speech in the Knesset.
He acknowledged Trump’s meaningful role in securing the release of prisoners, expressing gratitude to Trump. “We have returned all living captives and will bring back the bodies of fallen prisoners,” netanyahu said.
Netanyahu also thanked Trump for standing firm against falsehoods about Israel at the United Nations.
Addressing Trump directly, he stated: ”You are Israel’s greatest friend. No president has worked as much in Israel’s favor as you have.Your peace plan was accepted by countries worldwide, ended war, and fulfilled all our objectives. You remain committed to this peace, and so will I.”
He further expressed thanks for Trump’s recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan heights. “This is your first visit since declaring Jerusalem as our capital, and I thank you for that. Your name will be remembered throughout history.”
Netanyahu noted the heavy price paid by Israel with 2,000 soldiers lost.
“We paid dearly during the war,” he claimed, “but our enemies now understand that Israel is strong and resilient. From the start of the conflict I promised to return every captive-and this was achieved with Trump’s help.”
