Another Leader of the Dissolved Baath Party Identified and Arrested in Iraq
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing facts from Al-Maloumeh via Mehr News agency, a security source in Anbar province reported that one of the prominent leaders of the dissolved Ba’ath Party was caught in an ambush set by Iraqi security forces.
The report states that Iraqi security forces tracked this Ba’athist leader in northern areas of Fallujah and arrested him after carrying out necessary operations.
The source added that intelligence on secret activities of the dissolved Ba’ath Party in Anbar province surfaced a few hours after several party leaders were detained.
Earlier, Popular Mobilization Forces successfully apprehended Abdul Razzaq Odeh, another senior leader of the dissolved Ba’ath Party, during their latest security operation.
