Millions to Protest Against Trump in the U.S. Tomorrow

Several American ⁤civil groups have announced⁣ plans to hold mass protests on Saturday across 2,600 U.S. cities and regions, ⁤opposing​ Donald TrumpS monopolistic policies and his management.

The ​”No Kings⁤ Movement” is set to organize‌ widespread demonstrations tomorrow Saturday against ⁢President ​Donald Trump’s policies ‌and in defense​ of democracy in the⁤ United States. The protests will take place in multiple cities including New⁣ York,San Francisco,Chicago,and Atlanta,according to the English section of webangah News agency, citing‌ Mehr News Agency and Al-Alam News Network.

This marks the second day of national protests as June. Like last June, millions are expected⁣ to take⁤ to the streets nationwide expressing their⁢ opposition ⁣to President Trump’s⁣ policies.

Around ⁣four months after the first wave of demonstrations, organizers predict over 2,600 ⁢large gatherings across key U.S.cities will be held during this wave ⁤of protests.

the movement behind these demonstrations also anticipates that the protest momentum⁤ will extend into Canada.

During a press conference held on Thursday, Deirdre Shooling-a civil liberties union ‌leader specializing in⁤ defending citizens’ rights-stated that millions⁣ will participate on⁣ Saturday “to tell the Trump administration that they ​live in a country where all people‍ are equal under‌ the law.”

She added that ignoring ‍existing laws by Donald Trump and his allies is unacceptable for ​citizens who refuse to ⁢be silenced.

Lia Grinberg, another​ organizer involved⁢ with planning these ​protests, criticized how the Trump administration deploys National Guard troops to ‍various U.S. cities and intimidates people-especially immigrants from neighboring countries-and prosecutes ⁢opponents through judicial means ‍n​ order silence ‍dissenters.

Referring to​ traditional methods of ​repression-including threats, misinformation campaigns aimed at damaging⁢ reputations, and⁤ intimidation-Grinberg emphasized: “We ​will not give up nor bow under this pressure.”
