International Court of Justice Rejects Call to Cancel Benjamin Netanyahu’s Arrest Warrant
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Israel’s Channel 12 reported that the International Criminal Court (ICC) denied Tel Aviv’s request to annul arrest warrants issued against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, as well as a suspension of investigations into their cases.
On november 21,2024,after investigating war crimes and crimes against humanity,the ICC issued arrest warrants for two senior Israeli officials: Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant. They were charged with responsibility for using starvation as a method of warfare,crimes against humanity including murder,persecution,and other inhumane acts during the Gaza conflict.Consequently, all 125 member states of the ICC-including France and the United Kingdom-are required to arrest Netanyahu and Galant if they enter their territories.
