Trump Likely to Meet North Korean Leader
Media outlets report a possible meeting between the U.S. president adn North Korea’s leader in the coming weeks.
The English section of webangah News Agency cites Mehr News Agency, which refers to CNN,stating that the U.S. government is considering a meeting between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in the coming weeks.
This would mark their fourth meeting and Trump’s first during his second term in office.
In August, while welcoming South Korean President Lee Jae-myung at the White House for the first time, Trump said, “I would like to meet [Kim Jong Un] this year.”
However, three previous high-profile meetings between Trump and Kim during his first term ended without any agreements due to obstacles from Washington.
