Germany Recalls Its Ambassador from Georgia

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Politico, Germany’s Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday that it has recalled Ambassador Peter Fischer from Georgia for consultations.
the German Foreign Ministry stated in a post on social media platform X that Georgian authorities have engaged in provocative actions against the European Union, Germany, and specifically the German ambassador for months.
The statement described the recall as an prospect “to consult on how to proceed going forward.”
Following overt interference by Brussels in Tbilisi’s domestic affairs, Georgia halted its European Union accession process.
