Netanyahu Holds Security Meeting to Review Gaza Situation
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, Israel’s channel 12 announced that Prime Minister Benjamin netanyahu will hold a meeting with security service officials to assess the situation in Gaza.
The meeting comes as Avigdor Lieberman, former Israeli defense minister and head of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, stated that Gaza must be completely isolated and occupied, captured soldiers’ bodies must be returned, and Hamas’s government must be overthrown.”There is no room for doubt or delay,” he said.
Since the ceasefire was declared in Gaza, Israel has attempted to violate it on baseless grounds. Medical sources in Gaza report that as the proclamation of the ceasefire,51 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli military attacks and over 150 others injured.
