Russian Army Achieves New Victories; Down Ukrainian Su-27 Fighter Jet

According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and⁢ Sputnik, Russia’s Ministry of defense announced the liberation of two additional settlements.

The ministry stated that within the past 24 hours, Pavlovka in the Zaporizhzhia region and Ivanovka in the Dnipropetrovsk ⁣region were ‍liberated.

The Russian defense ministry also reported ⁤shooting down a ukrainian Air Force Su-27 fighter jet.

One Su-27 aircraft and 224 drones belonging to Ukraine were reportedly destroyed.

The statement further noted that 1,525 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed by Russian forces.

It ‌added that Russian troops made advances during this period.

The ministry said workshops producing military equipment, oil refinery facilities, and Ukraine’s⁤ transportation infrastructure were ⁤targeted.
